The end of the semester is here, and crunch time is most certainly upon us! But don’t let this time of year drive you crazy. Fall Study Break with Graduate Study Life

Graduate Student Life wants to help you take a break from your studies! Enjoy one of many goodies they will be providing throughout the day this Thursday, December 6th. The day starts out with free breakfast at 9am, followed by chair massages at 10am. Free snacks and giveaways will be available all day including Grad Terp t-shirts, UMD gear, and more. The first 50 graduate students to show they are following @GradStudentLif1 on Twitter will receive a free “I <3 Grad Terps” travel mug.
The ABCs of Relaxation
December 4th (4-6pm) – Multipurpose Room, Annapolis Hall
Return to your childhood and take some time to just play at this stress-relieving event. Enjoy board games and crafting with free cookies, milk, and hot chocolate. Located in the multipurpose room of Annapolis Hall, next door to the University Chapel.
December 10th (11am–1pm) – Grand Ballroom, The Stamp
This now regular semester-end tradition is back next Monday, and it’s certainly not an event to miss! What better way to relieve stress than to play with one of the many friendly puppies eagerly awaiting your arrival? Every week, the Health Center offers many opportunities for students to participate in meditation sessions completely free of charge. Not able to make it to a session? Meditate right now with Edie Anderson via her meditation podcast that takes you through a breathing exercise meant to help you feel more calm and relaxed.

Visit one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots on campus this December, and take part in one of several special labyrinth walks available at the Garden of Reflection and Remembrance next to Memorial Chapel. Enjoy free hot chocolate at the Winter Labyrinth Walk on the morning of December 11th, or check out the Sunset Solstice Labyrinth Walk, a candlelit experience on December 12th, 13th, and 14th from 4:30-6:30pm.
McKeldin Library’s Survive Finals Week 2012
