Student Archivists at Maryland Events!

Student Archivists at Maryland

October is American Archives month: celebrate with the Student Archivists at Maryland (SAM)! SAM is a student chapter of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) that organizes archives tours, presentations, workshops, social events, and an annual symposium, Americana, for University of Maryland students who want to get involved in the archives community.

So far this year we visited the gorgeous special collections and music archives at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore and we held a presentation about the foundation of the Korean archives tradition in Confucian and Taoist philosophy with Korean archivist Dr. Meung-Hoan Noh.
