What made you decide to enter this field?
Working with fantastic iSchool professors while I was getting my MLIS influenced me to stick around, get a PhD, and research and teach in an iSchool.

Policy and ethics in personal data and records collections; values in system and collection design; values in sociotechnical systems.

What is your favorite book?
It’s too hard to pick favorites, but I return to Persuasion, Middlemarch, and Jane Austen a lot.
What is your favorite band or musician?
Picking favorites is hard! In all categories. Right now I’ve got Neko Case, Lykke Li, and Cults on a loop.
What is your favorite place to visit?
Anyplace warm. Los Angeles definitely ranks.
What Three Words would you use to describe yourself?
Excited, organized, bookworm.
