Outreach & Assessment Librarian (Job #1746)
Muhlenberg College seeks a dynamic, collegial, and creative individual for the position of Outreach and Assessment Librarian in Trexler Library. As a member of the Public Outreach and Information Literacy Services (POILS) team, this individual will provide leadership with outreach and assessment initiatives, as well provide library instruction, coordinate reference services, and serve as subject specialist for the Social Sciences. An ALA-accredited Master’s degree in library or information science is required. Trexler Library staff also focuses on excellent customer service and a commitment to collaboration across the campus community. On a rotating basis within POILS, this position will also serve as head of POILS for a three year period. This is an excellent opportunity for a librarian who is excited about sharing their expertise to enhance teaching and learning at a small, liberal arts college. Starting salary of $55-$60K depending upon background and experience.
