Information Literacy Librarian
Knight-Capron Library at Lynchburg College seeks an energetic and creative Information Literacy Librarian to oversee the program of information literacy and provide user-centered instructional services to the campus community. This position will be available July 1, 2017.
Principal duties are 1.Coordinate information literacy programming and provide instruction to students and faculty in the use of library and other information resources; 2. Participate in reference and research services for students and faculty; 3. Provide liaison support for curriculum-related and research activities including collection development for the School of Business and Economics.
Required: An ALA-accredited Masters degree in Library/Information Science, 3-5 years of relevant academic library experience, strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and instruction skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
