The College of Information Studies, Maryland’s iSchool, is excited to announce a free, brown bag webcast—Speaking Up and Being Heard—featuring Scott Leeb, Senior Consultant at Iknow LLC. In this webcast, Leeb will walk participants through the task of identifying their audience and how to communicate effectively to those individuals, and will provide strategies for creating a successful elevator pitch. Effective communications is an important life skill that enables us to better understand and connect with the people around us. Communicating up and down the chain of command in any organization is a necessary competency for any individual.
Leeb has spoken on six continents on competitive intelligence, business intelligence, market intelligence, strategy, and knowledge management. Over the past 15 years he has created, managed, and grown the global business intelligence programs at four Fortune 500 companies and a leading international philanthropy.
