The NASIG Student Outreach Committee and the NASIG Mentoring Group are pleased to announce a new initiative: The NASIG Student Mentoring Program. This pilot program is designed to provide a yearlong opportunity for networking and professional development between NASIG regular members and our student members.
- Are you looking for an opportunity to get some firsthand information about working in the library field?
- Would you like to interact one-on-one with an experienced library professional on topics such as professional development, research and publication, and job searching?
- Are you interested in getting more involved with NASIG?
If your answer to any of these questions is YES, please consider applying to be a member of the initial group of NASIG student mentees. Any current NASIG student member is eligible to participate. Don’t forget that NASIG membership is free for students!
