Books Save Lives: Young People’s Literature Symposium- April 7, 2017

Save the date, April 7, 2017, for Books Save Lives: A Symposium on Trauma and Resilience in Young People’s Literature!¬†Stories of chaos through characters and events in fiction and real life.

Sponsored by the Library of Congress Young Reader’s Center, panelists will include Laurie Halse Anderson, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Barry Lyga, Kekla Magoon, and Meg Medina and will be moderated by Dr. Joan Kaywell. A book signing will follow.

The event will take place in the Mumford Room, James Madison Building, Library of Congress, at 1:00-2:30pm.
